UFOshots, LLC: Copyright Infringement Policy

UFOshots, LLC (“UFOshots.com”) supports the protection of intellectual property and is committed to helping all protect their legal rights. We have established the following procedures for copyright infringement issues.

Copyright Complaint Procedure.

A Complaining Party may notify UFOshots.com that there has been a copyright violation, by submitting a copyright complaint for the material on which they hold a bona fide copyright. A copyright complaint is a letter in your own words simply detailing the alleged copyright infringement.

A copyright complaint sent to UFOshots, LLC (“UFOshots.com”) claiming copyright infringement must be substantiated with the following information:

 

1. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
2. A statement (with an electronic signature) by the copyright owner, or from a person authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner stating that they are the exclusive owner of an exclusive copyright that has allegedly been infringed.
3. Contact information where UFOshots.com may contact the Complaining Party including a complete address, telephone number and an e-mail address.
4. A statement that the Complaining Party has a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner or its agent.
5. A statement under penalty of perjury, that this copyright complaint including the support information is true and accurate.

 

The copyright complaint along with the support information can be sent by e-mail to our corporate office. The words "Copyright Complaint" should appear in the subject line.

Upon receipt of an appropriate notification from the Complaining Party, UFOshots.com will remove or disable access to the material that is claimed to be infringing. UFOshots.com will also forward the Complaining Party’s written notification to such alleged Infringer and shall take reasonable steps promptly to notify the Infringer that the material has been removed or access to the material has been disabled.

 

Counter Notification Procedure.

If you have received a notice of copyright infringement, you may provide Counter Notification to UFOshots.com by providing the following documentation:

 

1. A brief statement by the Infringer (with an electronic signature) explaining the circumstances.
2. A copy of the copyright infringement letter.
3. A statement under penalty of perjury, that the Infringer in good faith believes that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification of the material to be removed or disabled.
4. A letter including a complete address, telephone number and an e-mail address of the Infringer and a statement that the Infringer consents to the jurisdiction of any judicial district in which UFOshots, LLC may be found, and that the Infringer will accept service of the process from the Complaining Party or its agent.

 

The counter notification including support documentation can be scanned and e-mailed to our corporate office. The words "Copyright Counter Notification" should appear in the subject line.

Upon receipt of an appropriate Counter Notification UFOshots.com shall promptly provide a copy to the Complaining Party. UFOshots.com will also inform such Party that it will replace the removed material or cease disabling access to it in seven (7) business days. UFOshots.com will replace the removed material or cease disabling access to it in not less than seven (7) business days, unless UFOshots.com first receives notice from the Complaining Party that an action has been filed seeking a court order to restrain the Infringer from engaging in infringing activity relating to the material on UFOshots.com.
